Any other Les Rallizes Dénudés fans here? (For those of you who don't know about them, their original bass player was a member of the Japanese Red Army who helped hijack a plane and fly it to North Korea in the early 70's.)

Do you feel disappointed if you find out that a piece of music has basically just ripped off a certain aspect from another piece, or is it more important to you that the music stands on its own?

I'm thinking of something like (obvious example) the bassline from Les Rallizes Dénudès' Night of the Assassins being lifted directly from the melody of Little Peggy March's I Will Follow Him.
