Why can't I like both? Though, I do mainly enjoy vinyl for the collection aspect and there is something about it which makes it fun to listen to and collect. I guess it's more "physical" and "special." The sound is warmer compared to CD's but some people hate that.
CD's are cool to collect as well and I will usually buy them if they are on sale and whenever I pre-order an album I get the CD with it as well. It's nice to have I guess.
