Has anyone else found themselves sort of "growing out" of hip hop? I have no problem with the music itself, but since a lot of it is very braggy and ostentatious (trying to come across as cool or real), it often feels immature or corny to me, in the same way that punk music often does.
I'm not sure how to say something like that, and yet not come across as ignorant or a "born in the wrong generation" person. But I feel like people probably know what I'm talking about.
