I don't really frequent this board much, but I figure now is as good a time as ever. My grandfather recently passed away and left me his guitar (It's like a 50's-50's Fender, if that means anything.) As much as he loved to play, I never really learned how to, but always wanted. I was never around enough to learn from him, but I digress.
What do you guys think is the most efficient way to learn guitar? My only limitation is that I cannot afford a tutor, so I'm stuck with self teaching at the moment, not made much progress. I'm just not sure how to really go about doing it, or at what point I can really say that I can "play guitar". Any and all advice would be much appreciated. Thank in advance /mu/.
