>Råd Kjetill Sanza Testa - Levande Död I Norra Norrland
A very somber and dark ambient album. I suppose I was lucky I listened to this in the current mood I've been in (I've been feeling pretty numb lately, idk why) because this seems like the kind of album you really have to have the right mindset to thoroughly enjoy. That being said, I did enjoy this album. While I wouldn't call it groundbreaking or a 10/10 or anything it was certainly a very cozy LP that I found myself using to let my mind go. I'll have to listen to this again to get a proper non-inflated rating obviously because right now this was just the right music I needed, but at the same time I don't think I will for that very reason. I enjoyed the experience and I thank whoever it was that recommended me this album because it helped me relax at a time when I really need to relax. 8.1/10
>Dawn Richard - Blackheart
Wasn't really a huge fan of this album. I appreciated that Dawn Richard was experimenting a little more than your typical R&B pop-type artist but the effect was mostly lost on me with the kinda aimless swarm of noise that was Blackheart. That's not to say that this album wasn't without some pretty great moments, I just wish there were more of those moments. Not much to say other than it didn't really feel like an album as much as a long song you'd find on one of those pop hip/hop radio stations. 2.6/10, going back to my previous review maybe I just wasn't in the right mood for this kinda music but I kinda have the feeling I wouldn't like this regardless of the mood I was in.
