There is a reason ITAOTS is parroted around and considered essential Mu-core for beginners.
It's the ultimate album to de-pleb plebs.
First of all.
-Basically the only way to properly experience is it to listen to the album as a whole, plebs can't do that they like singles too much.
-It's challenging to listen to, yes the music is simple but the aggressive and outside mixing, instrumentation and sound design is a turn off for some people, it isn't an album that lets you go easy.
-Once it digs it's claws into you there is no way out, you are fucked this album has you.
-It gets people who enjoyed it thinking about other music differently because they'd never think they would like that kind of thing before because they only liked metal/rock/whatever before.
-There's more to the album than you can find on the first listen, it has staying power.
-EVERYONE, EVERYONE IN THE WHOLE WORLD will at least be able to tolerate the title track, 80% of people who are in enough of a state of musical knowledge to at least know what the album is will like it. This makes it the perfect track to reel in people into the whole album.
