The House of Love (1988)
Holy shit, this is beee-yew-ti-ful
Just the right elements from loads of different genres. I wouldn't be surprised if the mixture of vocal harmony and post-punky production influenced Ride's Nowhere, while in turn the album takes great leaves from records like JaMC's Darklands. Add that to a genuinely really chilled, positive atmosphere in the super satisfying chord progressions and jangly currents, and you've got me totally hooked.
