If I had to pick one specific album, I'd probably say Lil Wayne's rebirth, although anything Little Weezy F touched in that era was pretty experimental. It's very obvious he wanted to approach that album with an outsider perspective, a la The Shaggs or Farrah Abraham, possibly even Zappa in some moments although that's mostly just similarities in guitar work. Before I get a downvote brigade going here, I want you guys to check this gem out and decide for yourself.
