I feel like I want to like this album more than I do and it mostly plays into the quality of the sound on it.
I swear it almost sounds like shit at times. Maybe some people love that and maybe it is something they were going for, they are after all fairly noisy in general, but it always sounded good from some kind of perspective.
Songs here feel like they're held back because of the mastering. Turned Off was a track I was hyped as fuck for after the snippet, and the full song just builds and gets more and more noisy as it goes along and that's fine in theory except it just sounds poor eventually, you can't really make shit out and everything drowns itself out.
I don't know,maybe I'll get into this dirty ass sound later on but as of right now I feel like its actually holding the record back, it is just way too noisy at times, wish you could actually hear the individual parts of the instrumentation rather than it just coming out like a loud fart.
