The problem with Kendrick is that he beats you over the head with the "meaning" of his songs, there's is absolutely no subtly. Compare that to someone like Billy Woods or Elucid whose lyrics are subtle but full of meaning and you'll see what I mean.

Basically Kendrick is like Ralph Waldo Emerson and Billy Woods is like Emily Dickinson.

Hey /mu/, Billy Woods is the first rapper I find myself really enjoying, I'm wondering if you can recommend some similarly interesting hip-hop artists. I listen mostly to modern classical and experimental music.
