I have a question for the guitarfags of /mu/. So I've been playing guitar for a decade, but have taken a long break (over a couple of years) from maintaining a strict regimen of playing. I'm near the end of university and I'm just getting back into playing this old acoustic I have. I've been playing some songs by The Front Bottoms and The Weakerthans for the last week and I'm enjoying myself, but I have a conundrum. I want to play a ton and get back into writing tunes and just enjoying playing for myself and maybe for other people, but I don't want to be "that guy with the guitar" on campus. Anyone have ideas about that? How do I not become the douchebag with the guitar on campus while actually playing for people every now and again?
