I listened to Nico's Desertshore and was very very very pleased by it. I was always putting it off because I really like Nico and I don't want to go through her albums too fast. I will need to give some more listens before I give it a fair rating and a review. It is gonna be 8 and above though for sure.
Also since everyone is posting charts I think I fully updated mine.

Glad you liked Daikanjyo. I would recommend checking out Vajra which is pretty much the same band but the piano player Aketagawa is replaced by none other than Keiji Haino. Mandala Cat Last is probably the best thing I have heard from the trio so far.
As for Aketagawa I only heard Shudan Seikatsu because his discog is pretty hard to come by. He's a fantastic pianist so check that out for sure.

>My only real complaint is that some of the songs should have been a little shorter, because the album is a lot to take in one sitting
I always thought that it was its' main flaw but over the time it kinda disappeared. Maybe it's cause I listened to some really long albums afterwards, I'm not sure. Glad you liked it though.

>You should check out 'The MMs Bar Recording' released on Trunk Records. A whole album of PA announcements from an English train line.
Yes, yes, yes. Thank you.
If anyone has anymore train field recordings I will grab them instantaneously.
