This album has 2 parts, that each follow the same pattern. track one is a man speaking in a room. track 2 is the same, but the voice played so that is is stretched out to great length, barely recognizable. 3 is stretched more, and so on, until you are just hearing foreign hisses and screeches. an interesting concept, but a tremendously boring and grating listen, as after the first 2 or 3 tracks it all sounds almost exactly the same. then, you reach the supposed climax, the tenth track in this pattern, and fucking surprise, it's indistinct from track 9. this is the halfway mark, now we have another man speaking, this time the one behind the album. and the same thing happens. I got to about track 5 of 8 for part 2, when I had to give up. again, it's just boring, and impossible to ignore grating squeals and sad hisses. these ones are stretched out longer than in the previous half. seeing the remaining track times (6. 7:35, 7. 11:24, 8. 17:09) I decided to cut my losses and give up. I was entirely done.
if the concept interests you, and you decide to listen to this, stop at track 3 or 4. you are missing absolutely nothing.
