The Water is just lame. Few standout tracks. Average beats. Weak features except when Joey Bada$$ destroys on the last track and Mick has to change his whole thing just to keep up. Uninteresting theme and lyrics, very little stands out as unique. Weak hooks. It's just a very average project. The hype surrounding it is completely unwarranted.

I just gave this project a serious listen last night and was completely blown away. At first I was just keeping it on repeat because the atmosphere was nice and consistent and the production was interesting. Last night a realized a bunch of the tracks are dope and the project has a very strong personality and theme to it. It's seriously great and is currently competing for my AOTY.
