i've had the Pilot Talks and Covert Coup in rotation for a bit, and dude's been a fantastically gifted rapper for years now.

but eventually his raps all run together for me.
i have the same problem with Freddie Gibbs - something about their flows.

lyrical enough for olds, but without the didactic tone that's usually all over "conscious rap".

Honest was my first choice for a while, but the guest spots (minus Andre and Casino) are just too damn weak.

Shyne Coldchain 2 is definitely my AOTY so far, and i think it'd be more OP's speed.
