Skullflower - Fucked on a Pile of Corpses (2011)
Unlike Xaman (1990), which is noise-rock, this is harsh noise. Most of the tracks have a melody on the guitar underneath the layer of noise, or shrieking in the case of Anubis Station. The track Tantrik Ass Rape is the best here, which forgoes the guitar melodies and is just pure noise, which was more reminiscent of artists like Merzbow. I found this to be fairly meditative, but the tracks are not really distinguished from each other. It's probably a good intro to harsh noise, but I think there are more interesting selections available, such as 1930 by Merzbow. 6/10
