this is one big, weird record. it definitely needs more listens, but I dunno when i'll do it. it had some great bits, but no songs stood out to me tonight (except when I caught that madvillain sample). the interludes and spoken word bits were all good- usually that sort of thing gets annoying.
all in all, a core zappa album that I need to hear more to appreciate properly; but as it stands, i'm not sure I would recommend it over other records by his i've heard (there's a few relistens on this chart)
