When I was around 15, I went on holiday to the South Spanish coast with my family like most Northern English families do. We landed in Malaga where I discovered to my horror that the car journey would be around 2 hours, in the 30C+ summer heat. We got a rental car and I settled myself in for the journey and looked for something to listen to, and, being 15 I didn't have much on my iPod, aside from Oasis and The Beatles. I saw Coldplay's name and laughed at the irony of it, and decided to listen to some of their music, specifically pic related and Viva La Vida. The combination of the beautiful coastline, the feelings I had at the time and the music fitted amazingly well, and the journey and the holiday as a whole was unforgettable.
I wouldn't say Coldplay are amazing too or anything, but they are underrated as fuck.
