[06/F1] Eskaton - 4 Visions [1979]
Today I was listening first French Zeuhl album ever probably. Admittedly, it was quite well.
5 long dense and really comprehensive tracks. Great women's sopranos, 3-square repetitive motives, even some fusion sounds, really interesting stuff from 70s. For that time it should be really something.
But from perspective of nowadays it looks kinda boring. I'm not sure what exactly I'm looking for being extra exciting, but Eskaton didn't experiment with things too much here. It's hard to remember something extraordinary except some high-freq noise during about a 30 seconds on one track.
Nice example of progressive rock of 70s-80s and especially of French Zeuhl, but nothing extraordinary notable.
