Jessica Bailiff is amazing. With this release she is now firmly in my favorite 5 musicians, alongside Jennifer Herrema, Lisa Germano, Keiji Haino and Oren Ambarchi. While I'm at it the next five would be Bill Callahan, Lida Husik, Jonathan Donahue, Neil Michael Hagerty and Jessica Pratt. I'm sure I'm forgetting someone totes obvious, but oh well.
This was recorded in 2002, with a guy who produced/played things on her s/t; which was released the same year. So it sounds kind of similar, as you'd expect.
