all you're going to do is restate the same arguments you threw at me, and those won't convince anybody. if somebody interprets a john lennon quote where he calls one of paul's songs shit as a sign of him being an asshole, there is literally nothing you can say that will change their mind whatsoever.
it's one thing to defend something so vehemently for such a long period of time when it's of significance, or when you could potentially present a case that would change someone's mind. but if someone thinks john's an asshole because he beat his first wife and was kind of a jerk to paul every now and then, you will never change their mind unless you factually disprove that he beat his first wife and factually disprove that he ever said mean shit about paul's music.
