I just listened to this for the first time and yet there are so many segments on the songs here that sound incredibly familiar. Is this commonly sampled in hip hop?

Nanook Rubs It and Apostrophe in particular feel immensely familiar for whatever reason.

Pretty good album though, wish it was longer. Hot Rats next?
