why won't i ever understand what is jazz. i play bass, i try to walk. but i always play the same thing. guess you'll say practice practice and practice, well i just play it, don't really practice much whatever i'm supposed to be practicing, i'm just jamming with myself using different scales. but it doesn't sound jazzy even when i play it with other people. well... there are some metalheads who told me it sounds like jazz, but i was just improvising on the pentatonic scale while they played in D the whole 5-10 minutes.
