SHIT! Totally thought you were going to ask about what I thought their favorite album was!
I really love Stephen Malkmus's style of writing plus his wit, voice and overall charisma. I also think the songs are very simple to just put on and Jam out to if its your sort of thing. The instrumentation is usually straight forward but something that I can listen to for hours on end. Especially on tracks like And Then...(The Hexx), and All My Friends is another fantastic example.
I also really love how all the guys in the band seem like best bros that get along very well. Its always fun to see them do stuff live or in music videos. Like this music video for ...And Carrot Rope:
