Anyone remember how boring operas can be? Yeah, so do I. This was just an opera. The ratio of outstanding moments to meh is like 400:1 here.
People should stop writing music that's over 3 hours long unless they have enough totally not filler shit to warrant it.

This was like everything that I didn't enjoy about Dvorak only without any of the stuff that I've enjoyed about him so far. Everything was just so god damned sappy that it hurt...
Yeah yeah, they're dances, but I'd rather dance to something that wasn't a Twinkie(r) covered in fairy dust. Thank you very much.
Okay so Dvorak impressed a little bit, but yeah he certainly isn't my favorite so far.
>The Lark Ascending
Well, now we're done with Dvorhack, we can get to some more staples. And now with 90% less corn! Lark Ascending was quite slow to develop, taking near to 6 minutes to actually get to the REAL music, but it was still very nice all throughout. When it did get going, though, it was absolutely wonderful. I wouldn't have minded if it was cut down a bit, though.
