We have the Valravn album. For the amount of times it was recommended everywhere by Mr Owl I was expecting a masterpiece. But eh, while the vocalist can sing really well, I'm going to have to be a folk enthusiast to see what's special about the rest of it. Catchy stuff here and there, atmospheres I felt listening to Faun, and some intriguing electronica around the middle, but about half of it was truly engaging, thankfully those parts were more interesting than the bland parts weren't. 5.5/10

What would be, then? Assessing both intrinsic/instrumental value and equating them to a rating from there? Also assessing its effect on other lifeforms or even non-lifeforms like how the soil on the ground is pushed by audio waves? Yeah, that would be impossible. But limit the rating system to humans, human consumption and some Jeremy Bentham-esque quantifying and I think it's possible for a rating system to be objective. (It's never going to happen, but it's out there.)
