Hey guys, sorry I've been gone. I haven't been able to get around to listening to a lot of the albums until tonight. I still have to listen to the Ziggurat but I'm waiting for when I have more time since I've been so busy lately.
>Hand. Cannot. Erase. - Steven Wilson
Very inspiring album, and also very consistently entertaining. While I'm not a huge fan of the kinda cheesy style in some cases on Hand. Cannot. Erase., (that's something that's always kinda peeved me about Steven Wilson) I can definitely say everything else about this album overshadows that enough where it is rarely a problem for me. Very 70s prog rock-ish but the Raven that Refused to Sing was also like this so I kinda expected that. I give it about an 8.5/10, I'm pleased with how it sounded and will definitely be listening to it again.
>On Your Own Love Again - Jessica Pratt
This was alright, it wasn't really spectacular or anything but it was pleasant to listen to. Pratt's style reminds me a lot of that Ys album (I forget the artist) but as a more laid back and less interesting collection of music. I can't really say much other than it was a bit too folky and it sounded pretty much the same throughout (at least to me it did). I'd say this gets about a 4.6/10, it had content that wasn't necessarily bad or painful to listen to, but nothing within the album really captured my interest, it felt more like background music than anything else.
