I wrote this song today because my girlfriend is upset that I asked her to come sleep with me and seems to think that all I want is sex. Do you think if I played it to her she'd understand that I'm not just trying to get my rocks off and that it means more to me than that? I'm afraid to sing in front of people because a girl told me to never sing again. But I've been practicing singing along to classic country in the car since then. Obviously I would have to practice it more so I don't mess up.
