I have high-end cans too, but no way your ears can listen to anything above 20kHz.
I'm an electronic engineer, make of that what you wish. Tidal has the same sound quality as Spotify to your ears. That's a fact.
What's the alternative? Whatever that uses V0, 320 cbr or above. Spotify, iTunes, piracy, CDs, whatever.
Just be sure that it's on a good format and isn't a bad transcode (lossy to anything).
