Honestly I've never heard throat singing in a full album, I've listened to clips of it online and stuff but never an actual throat singing-style album and I really liked it. The instrumentation of Divine Music From a Jail was very simple which gave the listen-through a peaceful feeling. Personally, when I listen through albums I sometimes like to draw things, this gives me a closed in and truly connected feeling with the music (even more so than when I listen to music and do nothing else), that said, it was the perfect drawing music: simple, beautiful, and elegant, whilst still maintaining a very earthy approach and I felt an amazing connection to the music because of this. I give it a 7.5/10 because it was enjoyable, the only downfall for this album was its kinda repetitive nature and maybe that's just an eastern thing because this past week a lot of the albums I've listened to had that sort of aspect. Of course, it could just be that because I don't understand the lyrics and I only have the music to go by, it sounds repetitive. Who knows.
