This is from before they created a genre for themselves and changed electronic music as a whole. This is krautrock. And I prefer their electronic stuff. his ain't half bad though. I really liked the flute on Ruckzuk, the motorik drumming throughout the whole thing, and it has some interesting synth parts too, that aren't like anything they did later on.
This gets a 6. Categories were cracked.
>Archaïa - s/t
This was a French zeuhl band. This is their only album. It has a nice spooky vibe, but it wasn't very memorable. Every change this makes on the zeuhl formula are just minor adjustments, and the execution isn't that remarkable either.

Really nice prog with psych folk leanings. I don't remember this one too well, but I remember really liking it. It needs some more listens, and I strongly recommend you check it out too.

>Art Bears - Hopes and Fears
You guys hyped the strangeness up way too much. This is just some good RIO, nothing too weird. I really like Frith's guitar playing here, it's a lot more ambient than on his Henry Cow stuff. Vocals are a little too high in the mix, but it's not that distracting.

I really loved the instrumentals. Too bad it's ruined by the most over the top singing I've heard in progressive rock yet. I can't get behind this. Nothing spectacularly weird here either.
