I'm glad he's weighed in on the article (which clearly besmirches him and Bat for Lashes.) I seriously resent the author for saying both of them have 'assimilated' indie culture as if it's specific to white people when that's never been true. Yes, there are a lot of white indie artists but there's nothing out there saying any minority can't also make indie music or that the content only deals with 'white' problems.
