I find his "omg i'm such a nice guy" persona to be incredibly forced and irritating. His songwriting could not be more boring and soft, he takes absolutely no risks and writes garbage. His lyricism is cringeworthy and his "rapping" is awful. His fans for some reason think he's the greatest thing ever because he's so sensitive and creative, even though he's one of the most boring songwriters I've ever heard.
He seems like a pleasant enough person but goddamn his music/fans are awful.
