>AMM - The Crypt 1968
Captivating free improvisation jams that sound like a combo between EAI and free jazz. Even though it's pretty long I feel like the length of the album is justified. The variation is there and some parts reminded me of Taku Unami and Takahiro Kawaguchi's Teatro Assente while the others made em think of Stockhausen and Sun Ra. I will need to listen to this more often, it has potential to grow on me even more.
8/10

>Daniel Johnston - Hi, How Are You
This is my first Johnson album and I came in expecting some lo-fi captivating and emotionally devastating music in the vein of Jandek. I don't like this at all. He sounds like he is a 12 year old mentally handicapped kid who just discovered a tape recorder. The songs are mostly annoying and just sound like a documentation of a mental disease. There were moments that I really enjoyed (ending of No More Pushing Joe Around, Desperate Man Blues) but mostly I really disliked it.
4--/10, will not listen to again.
