Warhol's artwork directly addresses the replicability/repetitive nature of art. This mentality is even more applicable to today with everybody having cameras built into their cellphones. Back then, printmaking was the mode by which people replicated images over and over and over again. Aside from Susan Sonntag, who else has directly addressed this in Warhol's time or even today?
His style/method is as icononic as the people/logos/symbols he used as the subjects of his work. Hell, they even reference him in this stupid Murloc shirt.
Not to mention the repetition of shapes but variation of solid colors is kind of visually appealing. I guess your tastes are just too refined for fun.
