Well, I'll be. That screenshot I took was from a few weeks ago. I just updated to 5.14 and the display module looks much nicer. Maybe a KDE dev heard me complain. Nonetheless, I still think the XFCE one looks a bit better, and that screenshot I took was just one example--in general, I still feel like KDE's UI is a bit of a mess and lacks consistency between menus, visual distinctiveness, and proper alignment. I'll give them credit, though, it gets better with every update. >>68021403>KDE feels amatuerish?? Have you seen GNOME? From CSD to shoving touch UI down everyone's throats, it's like it was designed by a three year old obsessed with making his desktop more like his iPad.
Criticism of KDE != approval of GNOME.
That being said, while I dislike much of GNOME and its design direction, I do think it has a more consistent and clean UI than KDE.
