If you would like to try out GNU/Linux you can do one of the following:
0) Install a GNU/Linux distribution of your choice in a Virtual Machine.
1) Use a live image and to boot directly into the GNU/Linux distribution without installing anything.
2) Dual boot the GNU/Linux distribution of your choice along with Windows or macOS.
3) Go balls deep and replace everything with GNU/Linux.

Hello! I could use some help. I was replacing the BD on my friend's PS3 Slim, but the daughterboard was damaged, and so I couldn't transfer it over. I tried to install homebrew to allow me to re-pair it, but my friend's PS3 wasn't on the latest firmware. And now I'm stuck in a bootloop. Any advice that allows me to preserve the HDD would be most appreciated.
