I never wear it with them outside because I know they don't like it and i try to avoid being around them in lolita in general.>>9631347
They know i'm an adult and treat me as such in general but sometimes they remind me the silliest things. Which I find kinda cute sometimes, but the lolita thing just makes me roll my eyes. That and "don't talk about your japanese hobbies or in japanese!!!" as if i was going to sperg out to some strangers about chinese cartoons and scream in japanese. I was a weeb once but that was 8 years ago. I'm aspie but damn, I can control myself mom.
I know they do and I love them even if they're not supportive of my interests, they did many things for me ,and i'm grateful, but god.>>9631392
Geez Louise, I'm sorry anon, they sound horribly annoying, and terribly wrong about what it is to be an adult.
I mean, hell, I know dudes that are engineers and shit at 27+ and they play with Legos,Pokemons,...Being adult doesn't mean being boring and abandonning anything deemed "not mature enough", that's such bullshit.
I think it's indeed the best thing, it won't happen before a while but I shall tolerate it in the meantime, the same way they tolerate my hobbies (i'm lucky they "tolerate" it at all, they were strictly against it in the first place and i know friends whose parents hate cosplay/lolita/... and used to forbid them from doing/wearing it)
